Title II Digital Accessibility Requirements
Effective April 26, 2027

Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) is committed to ensuring equitable access to all programs, services, and information.

On April 26, 2027, updated requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II will require all digital content to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

How to Use This Site

This site is primarily intended to assist staff and faculty creating non-instructional digital content, such as department or program web sites, documents and forms, and presentation slides.

What This Means for SRJC

These requirements apply to all college-related digital content, including:

  • Websites
  • Forms and online forms
  • Documents (PDFs, Word, etc.)
  • Social media posts and graphics
  • Flyers and promotional materials
  • Videos (with captions and audio descriptions)
  • Mobile apps and purchased software

This applies to ALL areas of the College, including departments, offices, and student organizations.
